I fish and hike most weekends and the tops of my forearms used to go red every single time, even when I forgot to reapply sunscreen. Wore this navy one on a six hour coastal hike and nothing, not a mark. Sleeve goes all the way to the wrist and stays put. It is thin but never clings when you sweat, and it dried on my back within maybe twenty minutes after the climb. Fit is close without being tight, I am 1,85m and the L was right.

Knocked off a star only because the M was a little snug across the chest and I probably should have gone L, so if you are on the line size up. Washed both maybe eight times now and they look the same as day one, no fading on the navy.
